For your consideration an antique book of plate print engravings dated, 1878 and entitled, Musee de Louvre, Gallery Religieuse / Collection. These are not just lithographs of engravings; they are actual plate print engravings with history and description of each piece. A very rare find with 50 fine plate print engravings showing famous works in the Louvre. A very rare book to ever find, let alone for sale. This is a beautiful bright red book with gold gilt print and page edges. There is a slight bow in the length of the book due to its large size. It is sturdy with tight binding even though it's 139 years old. Minor stains that may be able to be removed professionally. Two engravings are missing their tissue paper and the last engraving is trying to break free from its page.

Approximately 20" x 24" and weighs 17 pounds. Please look over the photos closely, for they are a big part of the description.
