Julius Verne's Von der Erde zum Monde/Die Reise um den Mond. Beautiful early edition in German, hardbound with illustrated front board, superb b&w illustrations, 191 pp. This is not a reprint. Two volumes in one binding. The volumes are attractively bound with a beautifully decorated front board and superb b&w illustrations depicting space travel in rockets.

Von der Erde zum Monde is dated 1874 on title page and Die Reise um den Mond, 1875 on title page. Please see the pictures of the actual item. Boards show light soiling and scuff.

Spine cocked forward with a couple nicks on spine (see pic #3). Stain near binding edge on first 12 pages (see pics #4 & #5). Light staining along bottom edge of last 25 pp. Or so in the second half, most noticeably on pages 184-185 pp. With tears and creases (see pics #9 & #10).
