Up for sale is this beautiful and rare antique McLoughlin Brothers children's book, Favorite Colored Picture Book. The book is illustrated with 16 pages of beautiful chromolithograph plates.

It is overall in good condition. The book is undated but is circa the late 1800's.

The covers have some wear and minor bits of soiling as illustrated in the photos and there is some wear to the extremities of the spine and minor wear to the corners. The book is bound in embossed paper covered boards with a chromolithograph paste down on the front cover. The interior is generally very crisp and clean. There is a name inscribed on the front free endpaper and the very occasional page with a very minor bit of foxing. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other very minor imperfection, but overall the interior is really beautiful and the color plates are in gorgeous condition. All in all a really lovely and scarce antique children's book with beautiful color illustrations.
