The Book is in overall good condition and all the colour, black and white plates are present. The item shows great detail into carrying out a number of operations, shows tools needed and details of various medical condition and surgeons of the 19. The book has some very gruesome content and details techniques to operate from. In all our years of collecting oddities and antiques we have never come across this type of item. Its a super rare item. A very Macabre and curio antique medical artefact available for sale in our store. Dimensions: H 7.5 x D 2.5 x W 5.5. Structurally good and in one piece, the book has weathered spine (photo shown). A few pages are loose, some of the text is marked in red pencil obviously used as a reference point previously. An antique item thats been used previously so obvious wear and tear are present. The plates have strong colour and no stains or marks on. This may cost that much more, but at least you are covered from accidents that may take place whilst in transit.
