Numerous flower appliques embellishing book chain necklace none missing. Large, oval locket; gorgeous, 3 dimensional bird perched on branch with leaves applied to front; lovely chased design on back.
Locket interior is complete with glass and frames ready for 2 photos. Dates from the mid 19th century; extremely collectible and VERY RARE.Chain: 21 inches (54cm) long X. 25 inch (6.4mm) wide; Locket with ball and hook: 2.5 inches (6.4cm) X 1 3/8 inches (3.5cm). Finely done, top quality workmanship.
