Hardcovers, red cloth bound with black titling, 9x12 inches, approximately 300 and 500 pages respectively. PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED with b&w photographs and detailed drawings. Published after the death of Dr. Kanzan Sato, a renowned authority on Japanese Swords.

The volumes display and discuss important swords of all the major Japanese sword makers and sword making schools. Again, this is VOLUME TWO and VOLUME THREE only. Condition: The books are in VERY GOOD condition, just lightly used, still tight, bright, clean and unmarked. The slipcases are in FAIR condition, with scrapes and wear to their edges and spine ends, some splitting at the folds, and soiling; but still doing their job.
