Richly illustrated and illuminated French Missal prayerbook from 1905. Beautiful leather binding with scalloped edges together with an original Protective Box with a satin interior & brass clasp. All 446 text pages richly illuminated with different Biblical motives. Limoges, Marc Barbou, 1905 (1st edition). Full leather binding with scalloped edges.

Gilt ornamentation to the front board. Title in gilt to the spine. Original protective box with brass clasp and satin interior.

13,5 x 10,5 cm (5.3" x 4.13"). Size of the protective box. 18,8 x 16 cm (7.4" x 6.3"). Collation complete - Frontispiece, Title page, 446 pages. Full leather binding is tight and firm, overall in very good condition, little scuffed to the extremities.

Pages/Text block in near fine condition, bright and clear, no foxing throughout. Overall the condition of the book is VERY GOOD/NEAR FINE. Protective box is whole, tight, brass clasp well preserved, overall in very good condition. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - U.
