We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful cast iron Victorian age book press that has a #4 embossed right on the side. The book press does work. It goes up and down easily. It has what appears to be dolphins on each side with an embossed cast figure.

It has a rope braised arch top that the turn screw goes down on. I dont know much about these kind of things and I hope the pictures tell you what you need to know. The overall size is 21.5 inches wide, 14 inches deep and approximately 14 inches high.
