In the original paper-covered wood boards. Volume in it's original binding. Binding and cover are a bit rough as seen in pictures. Also see pictures for page conditions. Bottom line is old rare and hard to find. There is a cool penned in illustration of a tree on the front page which may be a synical illustration of Massachusetts colonization. FIRST EDITION, published in Boston in 1805 and reprinted many times. The title page indicates that this work is. To be read as a schoolbook. This is the only 18th-century state constitution that remained in effect into the 20th century. John Adams was instrumental in its creation.
